3rd Annual Ron "Papa" Schaper Memorial Golf Outing
The third annual golf outing is scheduled for July 27th at the Sanctuary Golf Course in New Lenox.
Golfer are accepted on a first come, first served basis as we can only take 144 golfers.

Cost for the day is $100 which included 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch, alcohol while on the course, dinner, evening entertainment with Cheryl, raffles, baskets and great fun! You may also register for the dinner/entertainment evening portion for just $20, which includes dinner, etc..
We are also seeking donations and sponsorships.

2012 Registration Football Registration.
Additional registration for football will be held on July 19th and July 26th at
Martino Junior High Pavilion from 6 until 9pm at the cost of $150, payable with cash or check.
Teams will be filled on a first come/first serve basis.
A parent/guardian and player are required to attend.

All players who registered in March are required to return on July 19th or July 26th to weigh in only for team placement. Players will be rostered according to league weights and ages, with a maximum three pound grace to begin the practice schedule on July 30th. Any preregistered player who does not return on July 19th or 26th will not be placed on a team roster until weigh-in occurs. This will be required prior to attending practice on July 30th, causing a delay in being on time to first practice.

Cheer Information 2012
We are continuing to accept registration for most grade levels 2 through 8 to participate in our program who reside in the New Lenox area. We offer a program which provides opportunity to cheer at all football games including sidelines, half-time routines, pom routines, stunting, Fan Appreciation Day routine with props as well as offer an opportunity for all girls to participate in a competition, if they so desire. Both Liberty Jr. High and Martino Jr High cheer program coaches have indicated all girls who desire on the grade school selected team may also participate in Mustang cheerleading.

We are also seeking cheerleading coaches for the 2012 season. This is a great opportunity for those attending high school or college locally who are dedicated to the youth in New Lenox to earn Community Service as a mentor of young ladies.

Football Team Divisions
The New Lenox Mustangs are a part of the Southwest Midget Football League, which has been in existence for over 50 years providing an age and weight classification system. All players are eligible to play any position on the team regardless of their weight within the age and weight system.

Ron "Papa" Schaper Memorial Scholarship
Applications are being accepted for the 2012 scholarship prior to June 1st, 2012. Those eligible to apply are current seniors who played or cheered their 8th grade season with the Mustangs, who plan
to attend a college of their choice in Fall of 2012.
